The Georgetown men's lacrosse team will open the 2002 season at home against Ohio State University this Saturday at 1 p.m. The Buckeyes lost on the road in their season opener, 13-12, to North Carolina last weekend.

Georgetown defeated Ohio State last year, 10-6, making the series tied at 1-1. The only other meeting between the two teams was during the 1982 season when the Buckeyes won in Washington, D.C., 11-7.

The Hoyas enter the game with a preseason ranking of #7 while Ohio State was ranked #22.
