The biology major has a 3.86 GPA and became eligible for the all-American honor after earning a spot on the District II First Team. Classmate Alex Verdi (Ivyland, Pa./Germantown Academy) was also honored on the District II Second Team.
The Hoyas finished the season with a record of 9-8-2 overall and a mark of 6-5 in BIG EAST play. Georgetown was the fourth seed in the Blue Division in the BIG EAST Tournament before falling to DePaul in penalty kicks. The Blue & Gray will lose just three seniors to graduation and will return a majority of the starting lineup in 2010.
