WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Georgetown women's openweight rowing team hosted the Naval Academy, while the lightweight rowers hosted Princeton for the Class of 2006 Cup on Saturday morning on the Potomac River.

Georgetown's openweight varsity eight finished behind Navy in 6:27.3, while the second varsity eight finished behind Navy in 6:32.9.

The Hoyas openweight novice eight finished in 6:37.1, while the lightweights defeated Navy's novice eight in 6:43.6.

In the lightweight varsity eight race Georgetown finished three seconds behind Princeton in 6:21.3. Georgetown A finished in second place behind Princeton in the varsity four race in 7:21.5. Georgetown B finished in 7:27.7.

Georgetown's openweights and lightweights head to the BIG EAST Championships on the Cooper River in Camden, N.J. on Saturday, April 25.
