Georgetown Rowing to Compete at Princeton Chase on Sunday

WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University women's rowing team will compete at the Princeton Chase on Lake Carnegie in Princeton, N.J. on Sunday, October 31 with the Hoyas first race beginning at 11 a.m. The Blue & Gray will send seven boats into competition in three races, including the women's varsity eight, lightweight eight and lightweight varsity fours. The Princeton Chase is the third of four regattas the Hoyas compete in during the fall season.

The Hoyas will race three boats in the women's varsity eight race, set to start at 11 a.m. Rowing the Georgetown A boat will be coxswain Libby Hambleton, stroke Sydney LeGuyader, Lindsey Bragg, Kayla McNeill, Erin Landy, Marianne Hoeft, Vicky Stutz, Katherine Farrell and bow Amanda Savage .

Georgetown B will consist of coxswain Victoria Stulgis, stroke Angela Nelson, Jackie Fogarty, Lauren Abrams, Jacqui Snell, Erin Carter, Margi Emhof, Hannah Kittel and bow Alex Guyton. Georgetown C will include coxswain Devon O'Brien, stroke Kelsey Wilson, Maggie Girard, Isabel Aguirre-Kelly, Marissa Morgan, Isabel Baker, Taylor Dana, Anna Drabek and bow Ani Zotti.

Two Hoyas' boats will compete in the women's novice eight race, set to begin at 12:30 p.m. In the Georgetown A boat will be coxswain Devon O'Brien, stroke Rachel Gary, Emma Ciccotti, Haley Allen, Marianne Hoeft, Bridget Gribbin, Claire Murphy, Ally Flinn and bow Chelsea Maisano. The Georgetown B boat will include coxswain Claire Raskob, stroke Claire Southern, Tegan Campia, Annalise Windsor, Carly McCaffrey, Maureen O'Connor, Alena Patrella, Kate Anthony and bow Anne Gregory.

To conclude the day Georgetown will race two boats in the women's lightweight varsity four, set to begin at 3 p.m. Rowing Georgetown A will be coxswain Victoria Stulgis, stroke Kayla McNeill, Maggie Girard, Erin Landy and bow Vicky Stutz. Georgetown B will consist of coxswain Libby Hambleton, stroke Hannah Kittel, Margi Emhof, Bridget Gribbin and bow Allie Doughty.

Georgetown returns to the water on Saturday, November 6 at the Head of the Occoquan on the Occoquan River in Lorton, Va. The race concludes the Hoyas fall season.
