The Georgetown University women's rowing team concluded its fall racing season on Sunday at the Princeton Chase, as seven boats competed in three races on Lake Carnegie.The Hoyas Women's Novice A boat, consisting of coxswain Devon O'Brien, stroke Rachel Gary, Emma Ciccotti, Haley Allen, Marianne Hoeft, Bridget Gribbin, Claire Murphy, Ally Flinn and bow Chelsea Maisano finished fourth in the women's novice eight race in a time of 16:49.838, just 0.5 out of third place to highlight the day of racing.
In the women's varsity eight race, Georgetown B placed 35th, rowed by coxswain Victoria Stulgis, stroke Angela Nelson, Jackie Fogarty, Lauren Abrams, Jacqui Snell, Erin Carter, Margi Emhof, Hannah Kittel and bow Alex Guyton Savage finished in 16:34.445.
Georgetown's A boat, including coxswain Libby Hambleton, Sydney LeGuyader, Lindsey Bragg, Kayla McNeill, Erin Landy, Marianne Hoeft, Vicky Stutz, Katherine Farrell and bow Amanda Savage finished in 16:45.685, good for 37th place. The Georgetown C boat including coxswain Devon O'Brien, stroke Kelsey Wilson, Maggie Girard, Isabel Aguirre-Kelly, Marissa Morgan, Isabel Baker, Taylor Dana, Anna Drabek and bow Ani Zotti finished in 17:07.024 in 43rd of 44 entries.
In the women's novice eight race, Georgetown A had a team-high fourth place finish in a time of 16:49.838. Georgetown B finished 11th in a time of 18:06.249 with coxswain Claire Raskob, stroke Clare Southern, Tegan Campia, Annalise Windsor, Carly McCaffrey, Maureen O'Connor, Alena Patrella, Kate Anthony and bow Anne Gregory.
In the varsity lightweight fours race, Georgetown Lightweight A finished 29th in a time of 18:55.675 with coxswain Victoria Stulgis, Kayla McNeill, Maggie Girard, Erin Landy and bow Vicky Stutz rowing the boat. Georgetown Lightweight B finished in 37th place in 20:16.642 with a boat featuring coxswain Libby Hambleton, stroke Hannah Kittel, Margi Emhof, Bridget Gribbin and bow Allie Doughty.
The Princeton Chase was the Hoyas final race of the 2010 fall season.
