WASHINGTON - Senior attack Bo Stafford (Greenwich, Conn./Brunswick) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday afternoon when weekly league award winners were announced. This is first time Stafford has received weekly honors during his career.

Stafford scored a career-high four goals and added one assist and two ground balls to pace the Georgetown University men's lacrosse team's offense in a 14-12 loss to No. 2 Notre Dame on Saturday afternoon.

The Hoyas took an early lead behind Stafford's game opening-goal and tied the score three times during their battle against the Fighting Irish. The Blue & Gray trailed by one goal with a chance to tie within the game's final minute before ND sealed the game with the final goal.

Georgetown will host Towson (1-0, 0-0 CAA) on Saturday, February 21 for its home-opener. The opening face-off at Multi-Sport Field is scheduled for noon.
