WASHINGTON - The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) has recognized Georgetown as one of 85 schools to earn Academic Squad honors in Division I for the 2015 season. The Hoyas were included after posting a team GPA over 3.0, which met the criteria for the award.

Georgetown was one of seven schools in the BIG EAST to receive recognition.

The Hoyas finished the season with a mark of 7-10 overall and 6-1 in conference play which gave them a share of the BIG EAST Regular Season Championship. The squad graduated nine seniors, but returns four of its top five scorers next year.
