WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University softball team's junior Theresa Kane (Mystic, Conn./Stonington) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday. This is her second weekly honor roll of the season.

The Hoyas continued BIG EAST Conference play this past weekend with a home series against DePaul. Kane had a spectacular weekend at the plate and was key in run production for the Blue & Gray. She had four hits in two games against DePaul and also tallied four hits in a midweek matchup against Virginia. She hit .727 in the three games, leaving her at a .336 batting average on the season, which is good for third on the team. She also added five stolen bases over the three-game span.
