WASHINGTON - Georgetown Men's Basketball Head Coach
Patrick Ewing announced that Georgetown has signed a pair of student-athletes to National Letters of Intent in the early signing period.

Ewing has signed 6-foot-11 center Malcolm Wilson and 6-foot-11 center Timothy Ighoefe (Lagos, Nigeria). The duo will be freshmen on the 2019-20 Georgetown basketball team.

Patrick Ewing. "I expect them to come in and contribute on the court."

Wilson is a three-star recruit out of Columbia, South Carolina and he averaged 9.9 ppg and 6.4 bpg for the Ridge View Blazers last season. Overall, he finished this 2017-18 season with 287 rebounds and 186 blocks. He also helped lead the Blazers to their first state championship in program history and Ridge View became the first school from District 2 to achieve that feat.

Ighoefe is a member of NBA Academy Africa and competed in the NBA Academy Games over the summer. Ighoefe is known for his 7-foot-7.5 wingspan, 8-foot-11 standing reach and 10-foot-11 one-step vertical. At the end of 2017, Ighoefe, as part of NBA Academy Africa, participated in a tour of Europe and participated in training sessions and played games against local.
