WASHINGTON - Georgetown University sophomore Jake Carraway (Annapolis, Md./St. Mary's) was named to the BIG EAST Men's Lacrosse Weekly Honor Roll, as announced by the league office on Monday. Carraway led the Hoyas to a 2-0 record over the first week of action.

Carraway tied the team lead with 11 points in two games, notching nine goals to go with a pair of assists. He tallied five goals and an assist in a 15-5 victory over High Point in the season opener and added four goals and an assist in a 12-11 road win at Robert Morris. Both game-winners were courtesy of Carraway.

The Hoyas are receiving votes in both the current Nike/USILA Coaches and the Maverik Media Polls. Georgetown next travels up I-95 to face No. RV/19 Towson at Johnny Unitas Stadium on Saturday, February 24, at noon. The game will be broadcast live on the Lax Sports Network.
