WASHINGTON - Junior goalkeeper Haelle Chomo (Naples, Fla./Barron Collier) of the No. 24/RV Georgetown University women's lacrosse team was named to the BIG EAST Conference Weekly Honor Roll on Tuesday when the league announced its weekly awards. Georgetown is currently 5-2 on the season and 1-0 in the BIG EAST.

Chomo made a career-high 14 saves in just over 52 minutes of action in Saturday's 19-10 win over Villanova in the teams' BIG EAST opener. She surrendered eight goals for a 9.20 goals against average (GAA) and .636 save percentage. For the season, Chomo has started all seven games and has a 13.03 GAA to go along with 57 saves.

This is her second nod to the honor roll this season after earning a spot on the squad on February 27, and it is also the second of her career. The Hoyas have earned three honor roll awards on the year.

Georgetown will close out a five-game homestand on Saturday as the squad welcomes No. 6/6 Florida to Cooper Field. The opening draw is scheduled for noon and the game will be televised live on FOX College Sports.
