On Wednesday, the Hoyas were edged by the No. 16 John Hopkins University Blue Jays 12-11 in Baltimore. Senior attacker

The Hoyas outshot the Blue Jays 36-25 and pulled in 14 draw controls to JHU's 11. GU was 3 for 7 on free position shots while limiting Hopkins to a 1 of 6 performance. Additionally, the defense forced 16 turnovers, eight caused, as GU committed just 14 in the contest. In goal, senior

Earlier in the week, junior midfielder
Natalia Lynch (Smithtown, N.Y. / Smithtown West) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll. Lynch was instrumental on both ends of the field for the Hoyas, who knocked off Drexel 16-5 on Saturday. The junior registered a hat trick, an assist and three draw controls, while helping the defense which allowed single-digit goals for the third straight game, holding the Dragons to a season-low five scores.

Taylor Gebhardt (Baldwinsville, N.Y. / C.W. Baker) leads the offense with 10 goals and six assists for 16 points on the season. She is followed by classmate
Francesca Whitehurst (Baltimore, Md. / Roland Park Country School) who has four goals and nine assists for 13 points. Ryan is third with a team-high 11 goals, while Lynch has managed seven goals and three assists for 10 points on the year. Jordyn Sabourin (Catonsville, Md. / Notre Dame Prep) adds 14 for the year.
In goal, Chomo has played a majority of the minutes with 28 saves on the season. On the defensive end, junior
Noelle Peragine (Northport, N.Y. / Northport) as eight caused turnovers on the season.
The Blue Hens are 2-2 on the season and coming off of an 11-8 victory over La Salle after losses to then-No. 10 Penn (15-4) and Rutgers (12-11). Delaware began the season with a 7-4 win over Temple. The squad is led by Christina Long who has 11 goals and one assist on the year for 12 points. She is followed by Sydney Rausa, sister of former Hoya
Rachel Rausa, who has nine goals and one assist for 10 points on the season. In goals, Kate Brewster has 35 saves and a 10.11 goals-against average.
Georgetown is 4-3 all-time against the Blue Hens and 1-2 on the road. Last year, Georgetown won 12-8 at Cooper Field. Bruno led the way with a career-high five goals in the victory. It was a total team victory as 10 different players scored a point for the Blue & Gray. The last meeting in Delaware was a 10-9 Hoya loss during the 2017 season.
Following Saturday's contest, the Hoyas will return home for a matchup against local rival George Washington on Tuesday at Cooper Field. The opening draw is scheduled for 3 p.m. and it is a doubleheader with the Hoya men's squad.
