Georgetown fell to the No. 11 Loyola Maryland Greyhounds 13-10 on Wednesday evening at the Ridley Athletic Complex in Baltimore.  Georgetown cut it to one in the second half, but could not find the tying goal.  Junior midfielder Natalia Lynch (Smithtown, N.Y. / Smithtown West) led the way for the Blue & Gray with a hat trick as well as one assist for four points in the contest.  Junior attacker Emily Ehle (Baldwinsville, N.Y. / Christian Brothers Academy) managed two goals and an assist for three points, while classmate Michaela Bruno (Garden City, N.Y. / Garden City) posted two goals in the contest.

In goal, senior Haelle Chomo (Naples, Fla. / Barron Collier) played all 60 minutes and had eight saves for the evening.  The Hoyas were outshot 33-28 and pulled in just nine draw controls to Loyola's 15.  The defense forced 15 Greyhounds turnovers as GU committed 11 in the game.

Senior attacker Taylor Gebhardt (Baldwinsville, N.Y. / C.W. Baker) leads the team in scoring with 19 goals and nine assists for 28 points on the season. She is followed by senior Francesca Whitehurst (Baltimore, Md. / Roland Park Country School) who has 27 points on 13 goals and 14 assists. Lynch is third with 18 goals and five assists tallying 23 points, and senior Morgan Ryan is fourth with 20 goals on the season.

Lynch has 37 draw controls on the year followed by Whitehurst and freshman midfielder Jordyn Sabourin (Catonsville, Md. / Notre Dame Prep) with 26 and 25, respectively.  Junior Noelle Peragine (Northport, N.Y. / Northport) and Lynch lead the defense with 12 caused turnovers each.  In goal, Chomo has played a majority of the minutes in the cage with 54 saves and an 9.96 goal-against average for the season.

The Aggies (6-5) are heading to the East Coast for a three-game road trip over Spring Break.  The team will open at GU and then face UMBC as well as Mount St. Mary's.  UC Davis posted an 18-13 victory over Rider on Saturday. Taylor Cuenin scored a career-high seven goals on the offensive end, while adding four caused turnovers and five ground balls on defense.  All of this resulted in her earning Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Offensive Player of the Week honors.  The team is led by junior attacker Amanda Outcalt who has 17 goals and 28 assists for 45 points on the year.

This is the first meeting between the squads.
