Jake Carraway Named to USILA Team of the Week

WASHINGTON – Georgetown University junior Jake Carraway (Annapolis, Md. / St. Mary's) added another accolade following his impressive week he was named to the USILA Division I Team of the Week. This is the second selection to the Team of the Week for Carraway this season after previously earning the accolade on March 12.

Carraway led the Hoyas in scoring for both games on the week. He opened with five goals and an assist in a 16-14 loss at No. 2/2 Loyola and followed up with five goals and two assists in a BIG EAST victory against visiting No. 16/14 Villanova. Carraway notched his 100th career goal against the Greyhounds and had the game-winner and a man-up goal against the Wildcats while collecting five ground balls in the two games.

Other honorees joining Carraway include Gerard Arceri from Penn State, James Burr from Boston University, Anthony DeMaio from Maryland, Mike Eveland from Robert Morris, Sam Handley from Penn, Charlie Kitchen from Delware, Jackson Reid from Ohio State, Sean Sconone from UMass and Michael Sowers from Princeton.

Georgetown closes out its road schedule and nonconference slate as it travels to face NJIT on Saturday, April 20 in Newark, New Jersey.
