WASHINGTON - A record 55 Georgetown University student-athletes were named to the Patriot League Women's Rowing Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league office on Wednesday. The 55 Hoya honorees are the most of any rowing program in the Patriot League this season.
Georgetown led the league with 55 honorees followed by Boston University with 54 student-athletes, Bucknell with 40, Navy with 23 and MIT with 21. Holy Cross followed closely with 19, while Colgate was represented with 18 student-athletes. Lehigh had 16 recipients and Loyola Maryland rounded out the list with 15 recipients.
To be eligible for the Patriot League Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
