WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's
Jake Carraway was named the BIG EAST Men's Lacrosse Attack Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday. Additionally,
James Reilly was selected to the weekly honor roll as the Hoyas (2-0) won their second game of the season with a 14-8 victory on the road at UMBC.

• Led the Hoyas with four goals and three assists for seven points.
• Assisted on the game-winning goal by
Massimo Bucci.
• Added a ground ball and a caused turnover.
• Moved to third all-time on Georgetown's career scoring list with 192 points (129G, 63A), passing Andy Flick ('00), Paul Murphy ('85) and Chris Remington ('95) on the day.

• Dominant at the 'X', winning 19-of-24 (.791) faceoffs on the day.
• Won 12-straight faceoffs spanning the first, second and third quarters.
• Did not lose a faceoff the entire second quarter.
• Posted the best individual faceoff performance for the Hoyas since Peter Tagliaferri matched his 19-for-24 showing in the 2018 BIG EAST Semifinal victory over Villanova.
• Collected 12 ground balls to tie a career high.
Georgetown returns to the friendly confines of Cooper Field on Saturday, Feb. 22 against Fairfield in the 2020 home opener.
