WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University track & field team wrapped up the first day of the BIG EAST Indoor Championships at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio with a number of athletes qualifying for their respective individual event finals. In the men's 800-meter run preliminaries,
Ruach Padhal,
Spencer Brown,
Kenny Rowe and
Ethan Delgado all finished in the top-four.
Lawrence Leake and
Nick Wareham cashed in top-three finishes in their respective individual event preliminaries.
On the women's side,
Aniella Delafosse earned a first-place finish in the long jump to be crowned the BIG EAST champion.

Maegan Doody all finished in the top-three in their individual event preliminaries.
