WASHINGTON – Six former Georgetown University men's lacrosse standouts will compete in the 20th anniversary season of Major League Lacrosse (MLL), set to take place July 18-26 at Navy Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Maryland. Representing the Hoyas are Charlie Ford (C'17) and Nick Marrocco (B'18) for the Boston Cannons,
Lucas Wittenberg (B'19) for the Connecticut Hammerheads,
Patrick Aslanian (B'19) and
Daniel Bucaro (C'19) for the Denver Outlaws and Michael Mayer (B'17) for the New York Lizards.
Charlie Ford (C'17), D, San Carlos, Calif. / Boston Cannons
• 2017 team captain.
• First Team All-BIG East (2016); Second Team All-BIG EAST (2015).
• Played both close defense and LSM on the Hilltop.
• Collected 107 ground balls and credited with 29 caused turnovers in his career to go with three assists.
• Named Georgetown's Outstanding Defensive Player (2016) and the Jason "Prof" Decker" Unsung Hero (2017)
Nick Marrocco (B'18), G, Duxbury, Mass. / Boston Cannons
• 2018 BIG EAST Champion.
• USILA First Team All-American (2018); Inside Lacrosse Honorable Mention Media All-American (2018)
• First Team All-BIG EAST (2015, 2018); BIG EAST Goalie of the Year (2018); BIG EAST Tournament Most Outstanding Player (2018).
• Earned 27 wins in goal, collecting 658 saves to go with 121 ground balls and 19 caused turnovers.
• Posted a .534 career save percentage and a 10.08 goals-against average.
• Awarded Georgetown's William Corcoran Memorial Trophy (Team MVP) in 2018; Named Outstanding Defensive Player (2015).
Lucas Wittenberg (B'19), M, Kennesaw, Ga. / Connecticut Hammerheads

• USILA Second Team All-American (2019); Inside Lacrosse Third Team Honorable Mention Media All-American (2019).

• Posted 103 points (46G, 57A) in just two seasons on the Hilltop.
• Set the program single game record with eight assists during the 2019 BIG EAST Semifinals victory.
• Named Georgetown's Outstanding Offensive Player (2019).
Patrick Aslanian (B'19), M, Westfield, N.J. / Denver Outlaws
• 2018 and 2019 BIG EAST Champion.
• Tallied nine goals and 12 assists in his career.
• Transitioned to the defensive midfield as a senior and had a stellar campaign.
• Recorded 29 ground balls to go with 26 caused turnovers in 2019. Added three goals and a pair of assists.
Daniel Bucaro (C'19), A, East Setauket, N.Y. / Denver Outlaws

Michael Mayer (B'17), D, Baltimore, Md. / New York Lizards

• Collected 122 career ground balls and credited with 42 caused turnovers.
• Named Georgetown's Outstanding Defensive Player (2017).
