WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's men's lacrosse team celebrated all Hoyas, past and present, at the annual alumni game over the weekend at Cooper Field, followed by a presentation of the 2021 Team Awards. Honors for the back-to-back-to-back BIG EAST Champions included Jake Carraway with the William Corcoran Memorial Trophy as the Team MVP, Graham Bundy Jr. as the Outstanding Offensive Player, Owen McElroy as the Outstanding Defensive Player, Joe LiCalzi as the Jason "Prof" Decker Unsung Hero, Jack Elders as Most Improved Player and Anthony Nettles with the Leo H. McCormick Service Award.
 
The Hoyas tied the school record for wins after going 13-3 overall in 2021, winning both the BIG EAST Regular Season and Tournament Championships before advancing to the NCAA Quarterfinals for the first time since 2007.

• Led the NCAA in goals-against average (8.38) and ranked fifth in save percentage (0.583)
• Anchored the Georgetown defense that led the NCAA in scoring defense (8.31) and man-down defense (0.829)

Jason "Prof" Decker Unsung Hero Award

• Split time between close defense and long stick midfielder
• Credited with 16 caused turnovers and 42 ground balls
• Key part of the Georgetown defense that led the NCAA in scoring defense (8.31)
• Finished his career ranked eighth all-time at Georgetown in caused turnovers (39)
• Named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team
