WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's Men's Lacrosse Head Coach Kevin Warne has announced the team captains for the 2022 campaign. Graduate student Gibson Smith IV and senior Declan McDermott will lead the Hoyas on the field this coming season.
 
"I am very excited that our team has selected Gibby and Declan as team captains for the 2022 season," Warne said. "Declan has grown as a leader as he has matured throughout his career here on the Hilltop. Gibby, as a two-time captain, has the leadership experience to help our team grow through the 2022 season."

•    Scored 45 goals to go with 27 assists for 72 points
•    Has collected 33 ground balls and credited with five caused turnovers
•    Posted career-highs with 24 goals and 33 points in 2021
