WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's
Jake Carraway was named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association's (USILA) National Team of the Week, as announced by the organization. Carraway was recognized after breaking the Hoya record for career points, a mark that had stood for more than 20 years.

• Had 12 points on eight goals and four assists in two victories on the week.
• Broke the Hoyas' all-time points record of 236 – held by Greg McCavera since 1999 – with seven points (5G, 2A) at Mount St. Mary's in midweek action.
• Added another five points (3G, 2A) in a 20-13 BIG EAST victory over visiting Marquette.
• Georgetown's 20 goals are the most ever for the Hoyas in a conference game, including the BIG EAST (2010-present) and the ECAC (2000-09).
Carraway is the fourth Hoya in the past three weeks to collect USILA National Team of the Week recognition.
Owen McElroy garnered national recognition last week following Georgetown's 19-1 victory over St. John's while both Carraway and
Gibson Smith were honored two weeks ago after Georgetown's 16-1 win at then-No. 16/18 Villanova in the season opener.
Georgetown heads to the Mile High City next to take on No. 10 Denver on Saturday, March 13 at 2 p.m. ET in BIG EAST action.
