WASHINGTON – Junior Gabriella Gilrowski was named the BIG EAST Female Golfer of the Week on Wednesday as announced by the league office. The honor follows Gilrowski's record-setting performance to win the Pirate Collegiate Classic as the Hoyas took third overall. It marks her first collegiate tournament win and her 207 (-9, 68-71-68) is a personal best and also breaks the program record she set just last month for best individual 54-hole score (208). The Hoyas took third at the tournament hosted by East Carolina University at the par-72, 6,072-yard course at the Greenville Country Club in Greenville, North Carolina.

• Gilrowski carded a 207 (68-71-68) to finish 9-under for the tournament in the best individual 54-hole score in program history.
• The 207 surpasses her own record of 208 (-5, 70-70-68), set earlier in the season at the Princeton Invitational.
• Gilrowski's tournament win is the first for the program since Christina Parsells won the 2019 Hoya Invitational.
• The junior has scored a 68 in three of her last four rounds and maintains a seven-round, under-par streak [69 (-2); 70 (-1); 70 (-1); 68 (-3); 68 (-4); 71 (-1); 68 (-4)].
• The Montverde Academy product turned in 12 birdies over three rounds and one eagle in the final round of play.
• The Indiana native led the Blue & Gray to its second-straight top-three finish with an 885 (+21, 298-297-290), good enough to tie for third in the field.
• This is Gilrowski's second BIG EAST Golfer of the Week honor of her career and the second of the season for the Hoyas as she previously picked up the accolade on September 28.
