WASHINGTON – Georgetown University women's lacrosse Head Coach
Ricky Fried released the team's 2023 schedule on Wednesday, presented by MedStar Health.
"Our conference should be even stronger this year," said Fried. "We are excited to challenge ourselves with our out-of-conference opponents and playing programs with great traditions."
- Georgetown will open the 2022 season by hosting American University down in Springfield, Virginia at The St. James on February 11.
- The Hoyas will return to Cooper Field four days later as Townson comes to the Hilltop for a contest on February 15.
- Georgetown will finish the rest of February on the road playing Rutgers on February 18 and Harvard on February 25.
- The Hoyas will return home to play Johns Hopkins on March 1 followed by two road contests against Delaware on March 4 and Loyola on March 8.
- To close out the rest of March, the Hoyas will play at home against Monmouth on March 11, away in College Park against Maryland on March 15, home against Dartmouth on March 21 and finally away in Philadelphia against Penn on March 26.
- The Hoyas will begin April on the road against Xavier on April 5 before coming home to play Villanova on April 15. Georgetown will head on a two-game road trip to face Connecticut on April 19 and Denver on April 22. The Hoyas will close the regular season on the Hilltop for Senior Day on April 29 against Butler.
- To close the 2023 BIG EAST season, Georgetown will travel to the 2022 BIG EAST Women's Lacrosse Championship May 5-7 in Storrs, Connecticut.
