WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's lacrosse team was named an Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Squad for the 2025-26 academic year, as announced by the organization on Wednesday. Additionally, 12 Hoyas earned individual recognition on the 2026 IWLCA Division I Academic Honor Roll.
To qualify as an Academic Honor Squad, a program must post a cumulative team GPA of 3.20 or higher for the academic year. Georgetown was one of 357 programs across all collegiate divisions to earn the team distinction.
Individually, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or greater and hold junior, senior, or graduate standing to be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll. A total of 1,212 Division I student-athletes from 122 institutions were honored.
