WASHINGTON – Georgetown University Head Women's Lacrosse Coach Caitlyn Phipps announced on Monday that McKenzie Blake will be joining the Hoyas' staff as Assistant Coach / Director of Operations. Blake arrives on the Hilltop after a decorated four-year playing career at Princeton University, where she graduated in 2025 as one of the most prolific offensive players in Ivy League history.

"McKenzie has had an incredible career as a player, graduating from Princeton as the program's all-time leading goal scorer and earning numerous accolades along the way. Her experience competing at the highest level and her understanding of the game are tremendous assets to our program. Her energy, leadership, and perspective will be great additions to our staff as we continue to build something special on the Hilltop!"

Blake completed a historic collegiate career at Princeton, graduating as the program's all-time leading goal scorer with 231 career goals and ranking fourth in program history with 263 total points. As a senior in 2025, Blake delivered a marquee season, earning unanimous Ivy League Attacker of the Year honors, Second-Team IWLCA All-America accolades, and a nomination as a Tewaaraton Award finalist. She set the Ivy League single-season record with 89 goals while adding 98 points to lead the Tigers. Nationally, she ranked fourth in total goals and third in goals per game (4.45) during her final campaign.

Over her four seasons with Princeton (2022–25), Blake was a three-time First-Team All-Ivy selection and a two-time IWLCA All-Region recipient. She also showcased her versatility across the field as a senior, finishing third on the team in both draw controls (49) and ground balls (30).

A native of Haddonfield, New Jersey, Blake attended Haddonfield Memorial High School before earning her bachelor's degree from Princeton University in the spring of 2025. In her dual role with the Hoyas, she will assist with daily team logistics, administrative operations, and player development for the Blue & Gray.
