WASHINGTON – Maggie Donahue has been tabbed as BIG EAST Cross Country Female Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference on Tuesday. The award follows the Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University on Friday, where the Georgetown women's cross country team took second place in the meet and Donahue placed third in the field.

• The Wellesley, Massachusetts native finished third overall at the Paul Short Run this past weekend. Donahue ran in the 6K with a time of 19:37.1.
• Donahue has been named a cross country All-American twice in her career.
• The senior won the BIG EAST cross country championship in the 6K event in the 2021 season.
