Hoyas Take on No. 12 Old Dominion

WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University field hockey team will host BIG EAST opponent No. 12 Old Dominion on Friday, October 7 at 3 p.m. on Cooper Field.

  • Emma Van Der Veen, Elena Leahy and Trumpbour are tied for the team lead in assists with four each.
  • Reigning BIG EAST Defensive Player of The Year, Ciara Weets has 83 saves this season.
  • Sophomore captain Sophie Towne has been a focal point in the midfield for the Blue & Gray and has registered three goals, one assist and 32 shots.
 
Monarch Scouting Report
  • Old Dominion is 7-2 this season after winning back-to-back games against Villanova and Quinnipiac.
  • Marlon de Bruijne and Delphine Le Jeune lead the Big Blue in goals with seven each.
  • Cam MacGillivray has logged 575 minutes in goal and has made 51 saves. MacGillivray also has two shutouts on the season.
