- With his third BIG EAST Player of the Week honor, Hyde became just the second player to capture three major weekly awards in the same season, joining Simon Mathews (2016).
- The award also marks GU's fourth major weekly accolade of the season, also matching the 2016 team's single-season record (4). Graduate student Nolan McCarthy picked up the team's lone pitcher of the week honor this season.
- In four games, Hyde unloaded a .444/.500/1.222 slash line with four home runs, two doubles and 15 RBIs to help Georgetown go 3-1 on the week.
- Against Delaware, the sophomore nearly broke the program's 20-year record with seven RBIs in a game, falling one short to Ron Cano's eight in 2002. Hyde belted a grand slam and a three-run shot to keep GU in the game.
- Against VMI, the Hoya right fielder continued to rake, smashing a key two-run double in the series opener, helping GU to a 6-2 win.
- Hyde followed up with a five-RBI performance in game one of Saturday's doubleheader, launching a three-run homer to give Georgetown insurance runs in its 9-5 victory. He rounded out the weekend with a first-pitch solo shot to open game two, helping GU to its first three-game sweep over the Keydets with a 9-7 win.
- The Hoya right fielder also earned his second national accolade from Collegiate Baseball Newspaper with a spot on the National Players of the Week list.
