WASHINGTON – Georgetown University baseball's JT Raab was named the BIG EAST pitcher of the week, as announced by the league office in New York on Monday. The honor marks the Blue & Gray's 12th recognition from the league and Raab's first nod this season.

- In Saturday's series-clinching victory over Seton Hall, Raab delivered a dominant performance, recording a career-high 13 strikeouts across seven scoreless innings. The right-hander earned his third win of the season, surrendering just six hits in the 7-2 win.
- The Seaford, New York native helped lead Georgetown to a series victory over Seton Hall.
- This is Raab's first accolade from the league this season and first in his career.
