WASHINGTON – Georgetown softball's Mae Forshey was named to the All-BIG EAST Second Team on Wednesday afternoon. The senior who just finished her fourth season on the Hilltop was an integral part of the 15 wins the Hoyas accumulated this season.

• The Phoenix native started and played all 43 games for the Blue & Gray this year.
• Mae went .333 at the plate, going 47-for-141 and hitting 14 doubles, a triple and nine home runs
• The senior ranked second in conference, 33rd in NCAA, for the number of doubles per game (.33).
• She also ranked third in the BIG EAST for toughest to strikeout (12.8).
