WASHINGTON – Georgetown's Julia Parker was named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll on Monday after her impressive performance against St. John's over the weekend. This is the sophomore's first award this season by the BIG EAST.

• Julia Parker pitched all 21 innings for Georgetown this weekend in its three-game series against St. John's.
• The New Jersey native helped the Hoyas win the series by getting the win on Saturday 6-3 and again on Sunday 2-1. 
• Parker had only seven walks on the weekend with a total of 18 strikeouts.
• Her most impressive performance came Sunday when she struck out five batters to allow only four hits and one run.
