WASHINGTON – Georgetown University graduate student
LizaBanks Campagna was named Inside Lacrosse Honorable Mention All-America on Monday. Winners were voted on by media members. It marked the first honor for Campagna and the first for the Hoyas since the 2019 season.

Inside Lacrosse Honorable Mention All-America
- Earned Second Team All-Mid-Atlantic Region by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA).
- Named First Team All-BIG EAST last week prior to the BIG EAST Championship.
- Earlier this month, Campagna was honored as the recipient of the Bulldog Award. The Bulldog Award is given to a player for their outstanding effort and contribution to the team.
- Campagna started all 18 games for the Hoyas and became the single-season leader in draw controls earlier this year with 128 to her credit.
- It also ranked her third in the BIG EAST and among the top 15 in the nation.
- Campagna was also honored with the Team Star Award this past season as announced by Head Coach Ricky Fried. The Star Award is given to the player to earn the most stars throughout the season.
- She is a transfer from Cal.
In total, 74 student-athletes were named All-American including seven from the BIG EAST Conference.
Georgetown finished the season with a mark of 9-9 overall and 3-2 in BIG EAST Conference play. The Hoyas earned the third seed in the conference tournament and advanced to the title game before falling to top-seeded Denver 16-15 in overtime.
