WASHINGTON – Parker Stokes punched his ticket to Friday's final of the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the NCAA Outdoor Championships after finishing second in his heat this evening in the event's semifinal. The junior competed against 11 other athletes in his heat, 24 overall, finishing third fastest at 8:26.04. Stokes will compete in the final on Friday, June 10 at 9:24 p.m. ET in Eugene, Oregon.
