WASHINGTON – Georgetown's Gia Vicari earned BIG EAST honors as she was named Offensive Player of the Week on Monday as announced by the conference. The news follows Georgetown's win over West Virginia on Sunday to move the team to 4-1-3.

• The senior scored the second goal in the Hoyas' 2-0 win over West Virginia on Sunday.
• The Pennsylvanian has three goals and three assists over eight games this season.
• The award is the second of the forwards for the season as she made Honor Roll last week for her efforts in Georgetown beating William & Mary 3-0.
• With two shots on goal on Sunday, Vicari has 19 shots on the season. 
• Vicari earned Preseason All-BIG EAST honors.
