WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's golf team is currently in fourth place at the Princeton Invitational with a pair of Hoyas tied for second place. The 11-team field played 36 holes on the par-71, 6,109-yard course at the Springdale Golf Club on Saturday with the Hoyas carding a 26-over (302-292=594).
Megan Gormley and
Gabriella Gilrowski are currently tied for second place at 2-under following the day.

- Sunday's final round will be a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Gormley will start on 4, while Gilrowski, Angela Lee and Lauren May will start on holes 5, 6 and 7, respectively.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Gilrowski carded matching scores of 70 in each of the first and second round to close the day at 2-under 140 (70-70). Starting each round on hole 16, she recorded eight birdies on the day, four in each round, and an eagle on the par-5 12th hole in the second round.
- Gormley had a slower start to the day but once she found her rhythm, the junior recorded four birdies in round 1, including three in a five-hole span (10-14). Her second round saw her shoot 3-under with five birdies to her name, totaling nine on the day and a two-round score of 2-under 140 (72-68).
- Freshman Angela Lee was consistent through 36 holes as she carded a two-round score of 9-over 151 (76-75) with one birdie to her credit, on hole 6 of the second round. She is tied for 27th place.
- Lauren May is in 61st place with a two-round score of 21-over 163 (84-79).
