Women's Rowing Sweeps Bucknell in Fall Season Opener

WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's rowing team opened the fall season in an openweight dual race against Bucknell University. In a non-traditional format, the two teams raced three even eight boats in a 6,000m race on the Susquehanna River.

The Hoyas openweight team finished in the top three spots to capture a sweeping victory over Bucknell.

"Thank you to Bucknell for inviting us to this new race opportunity," said head coach Kendall Mulligan. "The structure of this competition allowed us to prioritize the development of our entire team and laid a strong foundation for us to continue building for the rest of the year. We could not be prouder of the growth we've seen thus far and are excited to continue this momentum at Navy Day."
