WASHINGTON – Georgetown graduate student Nick Davis was selected to compete for team Italy in the 2023 Baseball European Championships which took place in the Czech Republic from September 24 through October 2. Davis, a right-handed pitcher, was one of 11 pitchers selected to represent team Italy at the games.

• Davis made three appearances for team Italy tallying 3.2 innings on the mound.
• In his first outing against team Hungary, Davis retired the side in order in his lone inning of work.
• Against Great Britain, Davis was stellar, pitching 1.2 scoreless innings with two strikeouts and one hit.
• Davis's third outing against Croatia saw him pitch one inning and allow one hit while also earning his fourth strikeout of the games.
