WASHINGTON – Following her eighth-place finish at the NCAA Cross Country Championship, Georgetown University's Chloe Scrimgeour earned All-America honors.

Scrimgeour has been a star for Georgetown this season, winning the BIG EAST Championship and earning two BIG EAST Female Athlete of the Week awards.

• Scrimgeour finished eighth overall and first for Georgetown at the NCAA Cross Country Championships this past Saturday. 
• She finished with a 19:28.4 time in the Charlottesville meet leading the Hoyas to an 18th place finish at the Cross Country Championships.
• Earlier this season, she took home the BIG EAST Individual Championship with a 19:59.72 time in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Her performance powered the Hoyas to their fourth-straight BIG EAST team title.
• Earlier this season, Scrimgeour finished second in the Virginia Invitational, a 5k race also held in Charlottesville. This performance earned her BIG EAST Female Athlete of the Week honors.
