WASHINGTON – Following the conclusion of this fall's cross country season, the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association named Chloe Scrimgeour Mid-Atlantic Regional Female Athlete of the Year and Mitchell Baker Women's Cross Country Mid-Atlantic Regional Coach of the Year.

Scrimgeour was a star for Georgetown this season, finishing eighth at the NCAA Championships and winning the BIG EAST Championships. She also finished second at the Virginia Invitational and eighth at the Nuttycombe Invitational earlier in the season.

Baker led Hoyas to a team success this year, finishing 18th at the NCAA Cross Country Championships this November. The team also won the Mid-Atlantic regional for the third-straight year and took home their fourth-consecutive BIG EAST title.
