WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's women's rowing openweight team closed their fall season Saturday morning with the Head of the Occoquan Regatta. The Hoyas raced seven boats across five events, including a dominant first and second place finish in the Collegiate Varsity 8+

The Hoyas dominated the Collegiate Varsity 8+, with the "A" boat led by cox

Clara Weller finishing first and the "B" boat finishing second place.
Georgetown took the JV 8+ as well, finishing with the "A" boat finishing in first place. The "B" boat finished close behind in third. They also finished first in the Novice 8+ race.
The 4+ boats also took home a pair of wins, taking both the Varsity 4+ and JV 4+.
