WASHINGTON – Georgetown's graduate student and pitcher Brooke Plonka was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday evening after helping the Hoyas get two wins over the weekend at the NSU-Hampton Classic. The Blue & Gray went 2-2 on the weekend collecting wins over Bucknell and Wagner on Saturday.

• Plonka is in her first season on the Hilltop after transferring from Dartmouth.
• The New York native took the win over Bucknell from the circle after going 3.2 innings in the Hoyas 9-5 victory.
• Against Wagner on Saturday afternoon, Plonka shutout Wagner (6-0). The pitcher struck out 11 batters and allowed only three hits.
• On Sunday, she stepped in as a reliever against Lehigh as the Hoyas battled for 13 innings in a tough 7-6 loss.
