WASHINGTON – Georgetown senior
Jake Bloss was tabbed as the BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week as announced by the conference on Monday for the second time this season. Bloss was excellent on Sunday for the Blue & Gray taking a no-hitter bid into the eighth inning.

- The Greensboro, North Carolina native was superb for the Hoyas throwing eight innings on Sunday in Georgetown's 10-0 win over Hartford.
- Bloss not only took a no-hitter bid into the eighth, he struck out a season-high 11 batters on Sunday.
- The senior held his opponents to a season-best .042 batting average.
OF NOTE
- Teammate Michael Eze was also named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll.
- Eze had a fantastic week for GU batting .360 while recording nine hits, six runs, four doubles and two home runs.
- The junior chipped in two stolen bags while having an on base percentage of .429 and a slugging percentage of .760.

The Hoyas will be back in action again on Wednesday, March 15 as Coppin State comes to town. First pitch is slated for 3 p.m. at Nats Academy.
