WASHINGTON – Georgetown softball's Cameron Kondo was named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll on Monday after her impressive performance in a three-game series at UConn over the weekend. This is the graduate student's first award this season from the BIG EAST and the second for the Hoyas.

• Kondo went 5-for-8 at the plate over three games hitting .625 on the weekend.
• She tallied four hits and five RBI with home runs in two games.
• In Friday's second game of the doubleheader, Kondo smashed a grand slam to put the Hoyas ahead.
• In Sunday's victory over the Huskies, Kondo hit a homer in the opening at bat of the game to help set the tone.
• This is the second nod to the honor roll for Kondo in her career on the Hilltop.
