Box Score WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University baseball team fell to the Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday 4-3. GU moves to 6-4 on the season while IU moved to 5-5 on the season.
ON THE RECORD
"What a great baseball game today. Really proud of our guys and how we responded after yesterday. We played good baseball,
Andrew Williams set the tone for us, and pitched outstanding all day, they just had that one inning where they scored some runs. Our bullpen,
Everett Catlett,
Jordan Yoder and
Carson Frye did a good job to give us a chance but unfortunately today we didn't get the big hit we needed to, but they did. That is what happens when you play good teams. Overall, I am really pleased with our effort and our competitive spirit. I do want to congratulate
Andrew Citron on his first collegiate hit. The result wasn't what we wanted but we are looking forward to getting back out here tomorrow to take on a top 10 team in the country." - Head Coach
Edwin Thompson
