Box Score WASHINGTON – The Georgetown women's lacrosse team (3-3) picked up a road win 11-7 over Delaware (4-2) on Saturday.

How It Happened
- The Blue Hens got off to a hot start scoring two goals in the first four minutes of the first quarter. Emma Gebhardt put the Hoyas on the board with an unassisted goal at the 8:30 mark. Delaware responded four minutes later to close the first quarter with a 3-1 lead.
- Erin Bakes kickstarted the Hoya offense in the second quarter landing two goals to tie the contest 3-3. The Blue Hens made it a one-goal game with a free position goal but the Hoyas responded with two of their own to take the lead 5-4. Delaware tied it up at the 1:15 mark but Bakes and Hazen would find the back of the net in the remaining 30 seconds to put the Hoyas up 7-5 at halftime.
- Malay Starr opened the third quarter with an unassisted goal at the 13:23 mark. The Blue Hens responded with two goals in 30 seconds. Three minutes later the Hoyas scored two of their own to end the third quarter up 10-7.
- After a scoreless fourth quarter, Hazen solidified the Hoya win with a goal at the 1:45 mark.
