Box Score WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University baseball team fell 15-11 to the Creighton Bluejays at the Washington Nationals Youth Baseball Academy. The Hoyas move to 19-16 on the season and 3-4 in BIG EAST action while the Bluejays improve to 15-12 and 3-1 in conference play.
ON THE RECORD
"Great job by Creighton tonight, beating us in game one on our field. They played cleaner baseball than we did, and they took advantage of the free bases we gave them. Really proud of how we fought, down 11-0 and came back to tie the game and that says a lot about who we are and how competitive we are, unfortunately we came out on the losing end. Alex Fenton,
Everett Catlett and
Ayden Head came in and gave us a good chance to stay in the game but unfortunately, we ran out of time. We look forward to getting back out here tomorrow for youth day and Jackie Robinson day." - Head Coach
Edwin Thompson
