WASHINGTON – Three Georgetown University men's lacrosse players were recognized with BIG EAST weekly accolades, as announced by the league office on Monday. Tucker Dordevic was named the BIG EAST Attack Player of the Week for the fifth time this year, Jordan Wray earned his first Freshman of the Week nod and James Reilly was selected to the Weekly Honor Roll. The trio led the Hoyas to a pair of wins on the week to help the Blue & Gray clinch at least a share of the BIG EAST Regular Season Championship.
 
Dordevic tallied nine goals and two assists in Georgetown's 23-7 win at Loyola and 18-12 victory at St. John's. He led the Hoyas with five goals, including the game-winner, against Loyola while adding a ground ball and a caused turnover. Dordevic followed that up with four goals, including the game-winner again, and two assists against the Red Storm. He also had three ground balls against the Johnnies.
 
Wray scored a goal on his only shot against Loyola and added two goals in the win over St. John's.
 
Reilly won 34 of 47 (.723) faceoffs to go with 26 ground balls, a goal and two assists on the week. He opened the week by winning 16 of 22 (.727) faceoffs and collecting 10 ground balls at Loyola while adding a goal and an assist. He became just the ninth player in NCAA Division I history to reach 500 career ground balls. Against St. John's, Reilly won another 18-of-25 (.720) faceoffs and collected 16 ground balls. His 16 ground balls are the second most in a game in Georgetown history, matching his own mark set in 2021 against Marquette.
 
The Hoyas return home to close out the regular season in a BIG EAST showdown against No. 10/11 Villanova presented by Invesco QQQ on Friday, April 28 at 7 p.m. on the Hilltop.
