WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's golf team will stay local this week with a two-day tournament in Lutherville, Maryland at the Lady Bison Invitational on April 10-11. The 54-hole tournament is hosted by Howard University and welcomes nine teams to the par-72, 6,127-yard course at the Baltimore Country Club.

• Rounds 1 and 2 are scheduled for Monday, April 10 with a shotgun start beginning at 9 a.m. Round 3 will be a shotgun start on Tuesday, April 11.

 
ABOUT THE HOYAS

• Hoya lineup: Megan Gormley, Kaitlyn Lees, Lauren May, Esther Park, Gabriella Gilrowski
• Last time out: 4th of 19 at Kingsmill Intercollegiate (host: william & Mary) | 61-over par 925 (310-302-313)
• Following 54 holes at Kingsmill, Megan Gormley carded a 7-over 223 (74-70-79) to finish tied for second as she tallied 12 birdies to go along with 26 pars over the three rounds.
• Kaitlyn Lees turned in her best 54-hole performance of the year as she carded a 10-over 226 (78-76-72) with an even par showing in the final round. The graduate student tied for seventh overall and managed seven birdies and led the squad with 33 pars.
• Lauren May rounded out the Hoyas competing as she finished at 28-over 244 (87-77-80) to tie for 65th overall. May tallied a pair of birdies in each of the last two rounds.
• Esther Park carded a 27-over 243 (79-79-85) over the three-round tournament. Park tied for 65th and the 243 marked the best showing for the senior this season.
• Gabriella Gilrowski did not compete at Kingsmill, but at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational, she tied for 27th with a 13-over 229 (78-75-76) following a third round that featured two birdies and 10 pars.
