WASHINGTON – With under a week until the 2023 season kicks off at home against Marist on September 2, GUHoyas.com will take an in-depth look at each position with this edition featuring the team's specialists.

"Having a veteran group has been super beneficial since they know what it takes and what the expectations are," said Special Teams Coordinator Trey Henderson. "Once they all got here for camp they really hit the ground running. They all knew what they needed to work on as individuals in order to be ready for the season." 

Georgetown will have three student-athletes to rely on for kicking responsibilities with returners senior Richard Abood II and junior Patrick Ryan along with the new addition of sophomore Stephen Mayer

Additionally, senior Sebastian Alonso will return for his second season on The Hilltop, serving as the team's long snapper.
