WASHINGTON – This Saturday at the 2024 USATF Cross Country Championships Georgetown's Birhanu Harriman qualified for the U20 World Championships. His 24:24.8 time in the 8k race placed him in fifth. The top six competitors qualified for the World Championships.

• Alongside Harriman, Alazar Teffra also competed in the 8k, finishing 26th. 
• In the women's open 10k, Maggie Donahue finished 12th with a 35:23.2 time.
• In the women's U20 6k, Barrett Justema and Caroline Cummings finished 18th and 19th, respectively. Natalie McLean finished close behind in 24th.
